Eight key departments provided thorough briefings to Maryam Nawaz, who presided over a four-hour review meeting. She was informed by officials that although 174 snakebite cases had been documented, all of the victims had recovered after receiving anti-venom at relief camps.

Regarding transportation, Maryam Nawaz mandated that 1,115 electric buses be put into service by December and that charging stations be set up throughout the province. She gave her approval to a standard bus stop design. In addition to ordering the relevant authorities to begin the SRT project in the province as soon as possible, she also approved a schedule for the introduction of the electrobus program in various regions. Within a year and a half, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has grown from five cities to nineteen, according to the Chief Minister. She emphasized the need to expedite work on more than 5,000 water filtration units and established a goal for WASA to be present in 25 districts by the end of December.

To alleviate the burden of transporting water from far-off places, she ordered that every home be given bottled water. In addition to adding water filtration plants to the Deputy Commissioners’ KPIs, she gave Housing Minister Bilal Yasin instructions to personally visit and inspect the facilities. Under the Punjab Development Program, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif gave the appropriate authorities instructions to finish the work in 15 cities prior to the monsoon. She was informed by officials that more than 4,600 streets had already been repaired as part of the Lahore Development Project’s first phase, which would be finished by November 30. In addition to further activating Parks and Horticulture Authorities (PHA) in several Punjabi cities, she gave PHA instructions to grow bamboo forests.

According to an official report on rural development, the Model Village Project has been implemented in 472 villages throughout the province, with South Punjab having the most. Punjab’s chief minister gave the go-ahead for the Placer Gold Project to start, with the province’s citizens to get the profits. She was also informed that 11,000 miners in Punjab had received “Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Ration cards,” and that the goal of 25,000 cards would be reached this month. Officials also stated that marketing initiatives were being carried out in the US, Europe, and the UAE, and that contracts for pink salt had been re-auctioned, resulting in a fivefold increase in revenue.
