According to a recent LinkedIn poll, professionals in the UAE have demonstrated a significant increase in the adoption of AI tools, with 80% now using them regularly. This marks a substantial rise from 56% in 2024 and positions the UAE as the second-highest country globally in AI adoption, following India at 85%.
The rapid integration of AI into daily work routines reflects a strong commitment among UAE professionals to enhance productivity and stay competitive. Despite this progress, many feel the pressure to continually update their AI skills, with 73% describing learning new AI competencies as akin to having a “second job” . Furthermore, 65% express the need to utilize AI in more advanced and creative ways, indicating a drive for deeper engagement with AI technologies.
This surge in AI adoption aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy to position itself as a leader in artificial intelligence. The government’s proactive initiatives, such as appointing the world’s first Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and investing in AI research and development, underscore the nation’s commitment to fostering an AI-driven economy .
