‘Morning Show’ Cast and Crew Talk About Artificial Intelligence

The cast and creative team of The Morning Show gathered at New York’s Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday night to celebrate the premiere of the Apple TV+ drama’s fourth season.

Walking the red carpet, the team reflected on one of the show’s newest themes: artificial intelligence.

Executive producer and director Mimi Leder shared how working on Season 4 changed her perspective.

“I learned a lot about AI this season,” she told Variety. “What I learned was it can never, ever replace the human heart and the human connection.”

Mark Duplass, who plays Chip Black, spoke about the opportunities and risks AI brings to Hollywood.

“I look at AI and think if it’s going to democratize technology and allow someone in West Virginia to make a really cool, interesting action sequence they never could before, that’s awesome,” he said.

“But if you’re going to use it to sound mix your movie automatically instead of hiring the three guys who normally do it, we have some issues.”

As the cast discussed technology on the red carpet, Reese Witherspoon shared personal highlights from her recent months.

The Legally Blonde star posted a series of photos on Instagram, showing summer moments with family and friends.

Witherspoon also participated in a TikTok trend inspired by the hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty, reflecting on her personal growth.

In her post, she revealed that this summer she “got mindful,” “became closer with loved ones,” “reconnected with her hometown,” and “accomplished something new.”

She captioned the photos: “Summer may be over, but the memories are forever.”
