All members of parliament have expressed complete faith in the founder’s choice, according to Ali Amin Gandapur, who also stated in an interview with News Channel that “the opposition is trying to create unnecessary political drama, but their conspiracy will not succeed.” He claimed that Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, has always held sway over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and that party members have persevered through all of the hardships since 2022. “I have resigned in accordance with the directives of the PTI founder,” Ali Amin Gandapur stated, adding that those who are trying to drag out the matter are simply causing more misunderstanding.
He made it clear that even if Imran Khan were to give him a ministerial job again, he would not accept it. “I’ve already made it clear that I intend to remain a committed party worker,” he stated. Ali Amin went on to say that the opposition cannot use such political ploys to overthrow Sohail Afridi’s government, cautioning that Pakistan is already dealing with severe difficulties and that politicians should refrain from escalating the unrest. It is important to note that Ali Amin Gandapur was ousted by Imran Khan as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s chief minister only a day prior.
Salman Akram Raja confirmed the development by saying, “It has been decided that Ali Amin Gandapur will no longer remain the Chief Minister.” He also mentioned the appointment of Sohail Afridi as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s new chief minister. “Imran Khan himself chose to remove Gandapur,” Raja said. Salman Akram Raja spoke on the state of security, pointing out that there have been more terrorist attacks this year, which has resulted in more fatalities.
