Dubai Municipality has acted quickly after a deceased cow was discovered on Al Mamzar Beach, a popular coastal area in the emirate. Beachgoers were reportedly stunned by the sight of the large animal carcass on Saturday.
Authorities assured the public that the incident poses no threat to health or the environment. Preliminary assessments suggest the cow may have fallen from a passing vessel in open waters.
Dubai Municipality’s specialised teams promptly removed the carcass and conducted assessments. Officials confirmed that monitoring of beaches and marine areas continues around the clock to maintain cleanliness, public safety, and protect the marine ecosystem.
