Jennifer Aniston, the award-winning actress best known for Friends, has revealed a major career goal she has not yet pursued.
The Hollywood star shared that performing on a theatre stage remains one of her biggest dreams, despite her busy acting career.
Theatre has been a passion for Aniston since her time at the FAME school in Manhattan.
“I haven’t done theatre yet because it terrifies me,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “But it’s the one thing I haven’t tried besides making an album, which I doubt I’ll do!”
The Morning Show actress added that growing up in New York City fueled her love for theatre. “I loved going to theatre as a child. I think it’d be fun,” she said.
This is not the first time Aniston has spoken about wanting to perform on Broadway. In an earlier interview with Vanity Fair, she shared her childhood inspiration.
“Growing up in New York City and seeing Annie, you just get swept into a fantasy world. I want to do that,” she said.
If Aniston makes her Broadway debut, she will join other Hollywood stars who recently performed on stage, including George Clooney, Robert Downey Jr., Sarah Snook, Shailene Woodley, and Keanu Reeves.
Currently, Aniston stars in season four of The Morning Show alongside Reese Witherspoon. The show airs every Wednesday since September 17.
