The UAE’s humanitarian initiatives in Gaza are praised by the Arab Parliament.

The largest project to deliver desalinated water from Egypt to Cairo’s southern Strip: Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, the speaker of the Arab Parliament, has commended the United Arab Emirates’ relief efforts and humanitarian assistance for the Gaza population.As part of the UAE’s Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which was started in support of the Palestinian people, he emphasized the execution of the biggest project to deliver desalinated water from Egypt to the southern portion of the Strip, helping about 600,000 afflicted people.Al Yamahi mentioned the presence of the President of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament in his remarks at the plenary session of the Arab Parliament’s second ordinary session of the fourth legislative term, which took place today at the Arab League headquarters. The Speaker praised the efforts of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the Republic of Turkey in achieving the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, emphasizing that the agreement in Sharm El Sheikh is an important step in establishing peace and favorable conditions for reconstruction.Al Yamahi reiterated that the Palestinian struggle continues to be the most important and fundamental issue facing the Arab world, emphasizing that ending the occupation and creating an independent Palestinian state with Al Quds as its capital are the first steps toward reaching a just and complete peace. He urged nations and international organizations to take an active part in the November international conference on Gaza rehabilitation that would take place in Egypt. Additionally, he emphasized how crucial it is to hold Israel responsible for its crimes in front of the appropriate international courts.Al Yamahi went on to commend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its persistent efforts and astute leadership in supporting the International Conference for the implementation of the Two-State solution, which cleared the path for the State of Palestine to gain increasing international recognition. He emphasized that in order to mobilize support for Gaza’s reconstruction and the Palestinian struggle, a unified Arab, Islamic, and international approach is necessary at this point.
