Selena Gomez has shared rare advice on how to lift your mood, especially during difficult times.
The Only Murders in the Building actress revealed her personal ways to cope with low days while speaking to PEOPLE at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles last month.
“Some days you just have to let yourself get it out, and then afterwards, a good laugh,” said the 33-year-old star.
Selena admits she doesn’t have a single secret to happiness but shared what works for her personally.
“I like to maybe just see one friend and talk to my therapist, and look for people that help in the situation,” explained the actress.
During the interview, Selena, who attended the event with her husband Benny Blanco, also offered self-care tips for handling mental health challenges.
Reflecting on the Rare Impact Fund Benefit, the Wizards of Waverly Place star expressed hope that the initiative “continues to raise funds for what we’re doing all over the world,” emphasizing support for mental health services.
In conclusion, Selena added, “It is something I couldn’t be more enthused about because it’s something that we’re actively seeing on the ground that people are working on, so it’s amazing.”
