Prior to “Stranger Things” production, Millie Bobby Brown accused David Harbour of harassment. David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown’s on-screen father, was the target of a harassment allegation. Awaiting the premiere of the fifth season of “Stranger Things,” the 21-year-old British actress accused Harbour of misconduct at work. A source told the newspaper that the Enola Holmes star “filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” that “there were pages and pages of accusations,” and that the ensuing inquiry “went on for months.” According to PEOPLE, there were no accusations of sexual misconduct in Brown’s assertions.
This comes after the mother-of-one acknowledged that she had difficult moments with Harbour while working on the Netflix series. The actress, who was 14 at the time, told the audience at PaleyFest in Los Angeles in 2018, “We went through so many different emotions… we get angry at each other, we are like father and daughter,” according to Refinery29. Brown went on, saying that she and Harbour “would express our feelings on and off the set, and… those scenes were so raw and real that the reward is the scenes.” “We got angry at each other.”
“Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young,” Harbour said on the That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast. Before all of this huge popularity, I knew her.”
