A Marvel star is open about his future in the franchise

Simu Liu discusses how long he thinks he can continue to play Shang-Chi in Marvel. Simu Liu made her screen debut as Shang-Chi in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in 2021. He is now considering how many sequels he could produce if they were made. The celebrity says the Comic Book, “I would keep doing (Shang-Chi sequels) as long as I as I physically could.” The 36-year-old actor also admits that his Marvel co-stars’ extensive expertise intimidates him.

He continues, “I was just in like quite a large Marvel movie with a lot of these actors, some of whom have been playing the same role for like over 20 years.” And I’m entering their world. I’m taking on their personas, which they have spent a great deal of time developing. The celebrity goes on, “And it’s everything I can do just to like stop myself from shaking.” Simu says that by concentrating on his profession, he has overcome this insecurity. “But the thought that kind of powers me is this: you’ve still got to show up and you’ve got to try your best.”

“Make every effort to bring anything useful inside and move aside. I think we frequently claim insecurity or imposter syndrome as a justification for missing appointments. “If we can just focus on the work that you have to do and not make it about ourselves for a second,” the Barbie star observes. What is the goal? As this character, what is my goal? “Then you just take it one step at a time, and hopefully after 40 years, someone will be looking at you and saying, ‘Holy crap, what I would give to do work like that,'” Simu says.
