Dakota Fanning discusses her unique method for working with young actors

Dakota Fanning made a charming admission regarding her work with young actors. Dakota Fanning has been open about helping young actors. During a recent interview with PEOPLE Magazine at the New York City premiere of her new Peacock series, All Her Fault, on November 3, the actress, who was formerly a child star, shared her thoughts on working with young actors. The 31-year-old actress said that she treats young actors the same as her adult co-stars, reflecting on her own experiences as a kid star. “I sort of just treat them how I would treat any other actor,” she said.

“I think that’s what I appreciated when I was younger, so I just kind of go with that,” Fanning remarked before shifting the subject. Notably, Fanning started her career with the 2001 film I Am Sam when she was just 7 years old. She became one of the most successful young actors of her generation by the time she was twelve, having already been on screen alongside major Hollywood stars like Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise, and Brittany Murphy.
