Since the premiere of their movie “It Ends With Us,” Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been involved in a legal dispute. Blake Lively recently defeated Justin Baldoni one more. The public relations firm Street Relations Inc. and its owner, Jed Wallace, filed a defamation lawsuit against her in Texas last February, but it was dismissed from court last week. In a lawsuit she filed last year regarding the development of her film It Ends with Us, Lively cited Wallace and his business.
Originally filed in the Lone Star state, the action was later dismissed due to a lack of personal jurisdiction because it was uncertain if Texas was the appropriate venue. As of right now, neither Blake Lively nor Justin Baldoni have offered any commentary on the matter. However, a representative for Lively told TMZ that the most recent development makes it possible for the actress and her team to make a compelling case in court next spring. The Gossip Girl actress’s representative stated, “With this decision, all of the retaliatory lawsuits filed against Blake Lively by Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their crisis communications and digital teams have been dismissed.”
They said, “Ms. Lively will have her day in court on her claims at the trial in New York in March.” It is important to note that Blake Lively claimed the Five Feet Apart star had harassed her sexually during the filming of It Ends with Us, which became an unexpected hit when it debuted in theaters in August of last year. In addition to refuting all accusations, Justin Baldoni filed a countersuit against the A Simple Favor actress and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds.
