Insulting other nations or jeopardizing the state’s relations with its allies are strongly forbidden by Kuwaiti law and are considered criminal violations under legislation pertaining to public order, national security, and misuse of communication platforms. The man’s identity was not disclosed by the authorities, but they stated that the incident is covered by regulations that make it illegal to misuse communication platforms or take actions that could jeopardize Kuwait’s diplomatic position or national security.
