We commemorate Commemoration Day today, a beloved national holiday that reflects the highest ideals of honor and commitment. On this day, the people and leadership of our country take pride in the brave sons who gave their lives to protect the nation, its honor, human dignity, and the values of justice and morality upon which the United Arab Emirates was established. With their precious blood, our honorable victims have etched immortal pages in the history of our nation’s greatness. Future generations will always be guided by their sacrifices, which will inculcate in them the virtues of loyalty, belonging, and devotion to the country and strengthen the conviction that the UAE’s grandeur is a trust maintained through diligence, sincerity, and dedication. The United Arab Emirates has been—and will remain—a model country in promoting justice and helping those in need since the Union’s founding in 1971. Driven by the conviction that human solidarity is at the heart of the mission carried out by the Founding Fathers, it has never hesitated to carry out its humanitarian duty and has consistently been at the forefront of nations promoting peace and working to promote global security and stability.

The UAE will always remember the sacrifices made by our martyrs, who are symbols of honor and pride. They stood together on the grounds of duty and bravery after responding to the call with genuine faith. They merited their position in the nation’s immortal history, and their tales will always serve as inspiring examples of bravery, selflessness, and generosity—a constant source of motivation for future generations to love and defend the country.

We honor the families of our martyrs on this day with pride because they have shown incredible fortitude, endurance, and pride in their sons’ selfless efforts. They have demonstrated to the world the power of our cherished country and the solidarity of its citizens through their bravery and unwavering devotion, embodying the highest ideals of faith and loyalty.

Commemoration Day is a revitalized occasion of devotion and remembrance—a chance to convey our profound sense of community, our genuine allegiance to the country, and our appreciation to everyone who sacrificed their life to keep the UAE’s flag flying high in the sky of glory. On this day, we remember the principles upon which our country was founded and consider the path of a nation that has chosen to be a symbol of development, charity, and nation-building, as well as a beacon of peace and compassion.
