Fighter jets flew in formation to represent the Unknown Soldier during the event. Abu Dhabi: His Majesty Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the ruler of Fujairah and a member of the Supreme Council, attended the Commemoration Day ceremony at Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi on Sunday with H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the deputy chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes Affairs. In honor of the bravery and sacrifices made by the UAE’s heroes, Sheikh Hamad placed a wreath at the monument. Additionally, he awarded the Martyr’s Medal to four families of heroes who gave their life to protect the UAE’s security and safety.
