Born in December 1974 into a renowned Qawwal family of Faisalabad, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan and the nephew of the Emperor of Qawwali, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Learning Qawwali, classical music and sardar ramos since childhood, he achieved a position that only great artists can reach. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who stepped on stage at a very young age, won the hearts of listeners around the world with his unique and touching style.
