The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to advancing justice and peace. Abu Dhabi: The Israeli Cabinet’s approval of the establishment and legalization of 19 settlements in the occupied West Bank has been sharply denounced by the United Arab Emirates, which emphasizes that this action is a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of international law, undermining efforts to bring about a just and comprehensive peace in the region. The UAE’s unwavering opposition of any unilateral actions intended to change the legal and historical status of the occupied Palestinian territory was reiterated in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

The Ministry issued a warning, stating that any move to annex the West Bank would be completely rejected since it would undermine the two-state solution’s underpinnings. The Ministry also emphasized how crucial it is to assist regional and global initiatives aimed at reviving the peace process and putting a stop to illicit activities. It reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to advancing justice and peace as well as defending Palestinian rights. The Ministry also urged the international community to fulfill its political and legal obligations and to take the required steps to guarantee security and stability for all of the region’s peoples.
