At 2025, Dubai will implement updated parking rates at 17 major locations

Dubai modifies parking costs in 17 locations to reduce traffic. Dubai: Parkin, the largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services in the emirate, completed the rollout of new and revised tariffs aimed at improving parking management and easing traffic flow in high-demand districts. As a result, Dubai concluded 2025 with extensive changes to public parking charges across 17 key areas. The implementation of new parking tariffs, modifications to current rates, and the standardization of hourly limitations and subscription packages were among the changes that were implemented and improved throughout the course of the year.

The corporation claims that the actions were intended to increase the effectiveness of using public parking while attending to the diverse needs of city dwellers, employees, and tourists. Parking costs under the revised structure varied from a minimum of Dh2 for 30 minutes or an hour in certain places to a maximum of Dh36 for 24 hours in others. Depending on the region and degree of demand, monthly membership packages started at Dh300, while annual subscriptions might cost up to Dh4,040.

In addition to dedicated free periods for worshippers during prayer times at parking spaces surrounding mosques, free parking was maintained in a number of zones, including Sundays and official public holidays. Al Sufouh 2 (Zone F), where rates were set at Dh2 for 30 minutes, Dh4 per hour, and Dh32 for stays of eight hours up to a full day, was one of the locations where new or updated tariffs were implemented.

Additionally, new parking types, W and WP, were added in places such Al Qusais 1, Al Karama, Dubai Maritime City, and Al Kifaf. While WP zones used a variable pricing of Dh4 per hour outside of peak hours and Dh6 per hour during peak hours, W zones charged Dh4 per hour for parking all day. Zones 251C and 251D in Mirdif were subject to charged parking from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday; parking remained free on Sundays and public holidays. Outside of peak hours, fees were fixed at Dh2 per hour, while during peak hours, they were set at Dh4. In Al Jaddaf, a comparable fee scheme that applied to both side and surface parking spaces was put into place.

In addition, Gate Avenue-Al Khail (365N) now offers 24-hour paid parking for Dh4 per hour or Dh30 per day. A number of mosques now have new parking zones called MP and M, which give free parking for worshippers during designated prayer times and discounted rates outside of peak hours.

Several residential, commercial, and educational centers, such as Dubai Outsource City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Science Park, Dubai Production City, and Jumeirah Village Triangle, were included in the updated pricing. In addition to monthly and annual subscription packages designed for frequent users, the daily maximum fees in these locations ranged from Dh20 to Dh36.
