Dubai: A vehicle number plate in Dubai was auctioned for 740 million Pakistani rupees, while the RTA collected the highest amount in history from the auction of special license plates. According to the Khaleej Times, the most expensive auction of special number plates of luxury vehicles was held by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai, in which the institution received a total income of 109 million 26 thousand dirhams (more than 8 billion 31 million Pakistani rupees). 90 special number plates consisting of two to five digits were offered for auction in the auction and this is the largest number plate auction in history in terms of income. This was the 120th open number plate auction of Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority, in which the most expensive number plate was auctioned for 9.66 million dirhams, which is more than 740 million Pakistani rupees. The second number plate was sold for more than 8 million dirhams, or about 610 million Pakistani rupees. In the auction, one number plate was sold for 6.74 million dirhams, or about 510 million Pakistani rupees, and another number plate was auctioned for about 330 million Pakistani rupees.
