Petrol and diesel prices reduced in the UAE

The prices of petrol and diesel have been announced in the United Arab Emirates for January 2026. The Fuel Price Committee approved the new prices on Wednesday, effective from Thursday, January 1. Petrol and diesel have become cheaper. According to WAM, the new price of petrol Super 98 has been set at 2.53 dirhams per liter, which was 2.70 dirhams per liter in December. Special 95 will be available for 2.42 dirhams per liter after the price cut. Last month, it was available for 2.58 dirhams per liter. The rates of E-Plus 91 will be 2.34 per liter. In December, its price was 2.51 per liter. The new price of diesel will be 2.55 dirhams per liter. Last month, diesel was available for 2.85 dirhams per liter. The Emirates Fuel Price Committee determines petrol prices every month according to oil prices in the global market.
