UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan and Egypt Joint Declaration on Gaza Peace Board

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Qatar have issued a joint declaration on the Gaza Peace Board. The joint declaration welcomed the invitation by US President Donald Trump to join the Peace Board. The declaration said that the Peace Board will be an interim administrative framework for a permanent ceasefire, humanitarian assistance, and reconstruction in Gaza. The declaration stated that Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates jointly decided to join the Peace Board, in addition to Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar jointly decided to join the Peace Board. The joint declaration said that the Peace Board was established under UN Security Council Resolution 2803. The participating countries, including Pakistan, The right to self-determination and the establishment of a state are determined. The aim of the Peace Board is to establish lasting peace, security and stability in the region. The participating countries will formally join the Peace Board after fulfilling constitutional and legal requirements. The joint declaration said that Egypt, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have already announced their participation in the Peace Board. The Peace Board will serve as an interim administrative system for Gaza. The declaration further said that the aim of the Peace Board is to consolidate a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. The Peace Board will assist in the reconstruction of Gaza and the provision of humanitarian aid. The Peace Board will pave the way for lasting peace, security and stability in the region.
