Due to disruptive passenger behavior during luggage help, the flight was delayed. Two passengers on a flight from Goa to Delhi were offloaded after allegedly misbehaving with cabin workers, causing a delay of more than 1.5 hours. As stated by India The incident started today while the cabin staff was helping customers with their overhead bags. A verbal brawl apparently resulted from the travelers’ objections.
When one passenger allegedly became combative, verbally assaulted a staff member, and shoved them, the argument intensified. Both persisted in acting disruptively in spite of efforts to defuse the situation.
For safety, passengers were offloaded
In compliance with safety standards, the crew chose to offload both passengers. One passenger reportedly made phone calls, fought, and refused to leave at first until other travelers stepped in.
The flight was delayed by more than ninety minutes
A delay of over ninety minutes was caused by the interruption. Before being removed, the passengers were seen acting inappropriately at the aircraft entry gate. Unruly behavior is strictly prohibited by airlines and may result in removal from aircraft as well as legal repercussions.
