Afghan embassy in australia

Afghanistan is facing global isolation as a result of the Taliban regime’s undemocratic, violent policies. The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade says that the Afghan embassy will close its activities after June 2026 and will not accept any representatives, including Taliban-appointed diplomats and honorary consuls. The Australian government has refused to recognize the Taliban regime as the legitimate representative of the Afghan people. According to the report, Australian officials have strongly condemned the Afghan Taliban regime’s human rights violations and restrictions on dissent. The Refugee Council Australia says that citizens in Afghanistan are afraid to even obtain documents from the Taliban regime’s institutions.
