Britney Spears responds to a lookalike’s inconsistent driving video

Following a widely shared video of a vehicle swerving across lanes, Spears responded. Britney Spears has responded to rumors that she was driving recklessly in California in a video that went viral by saying that the driver wasn’t her. Over the weekend, the 43-year-old pop diva posted on Instagram, saying, “In case anyone was wondering, the lookalike was not me.” After leaving the Red-O restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California, Spears’ white Mercedes was seen in footage released by Page Six last week making a rapid U-turn, driving across lanes, and sliding into a bike lane.

Although Spears didn’t mention the video in her tweet, she did include a cartoon picture of Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse cuddling, which fans saw as a denial. The singer then said in a follow-up post that she has had trouble staying creatively inspired and that she doesn’t “feel respected at all by the most unbelievably horrible things being said about me.” She posted a video clip of herself painting, but she said, “I don’t feel inspired or motivated AT ALL to show new art.” Additionally, Spears has disabled comments on her social media posts.

The Daily Mail claims that her family members are becoming more and more worried that she is “losing control” once more, particularly because her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, which discusses their tumultuous marriage, is about to be published.
