In Christmas messages, UAE leaders emphasize harmony. Abu Dhabi: The authorities of the United Arab Emirates have sent Christmas greetings to Christian groups both domestically and internationally, emphasizing human values, harmony, and peace. His Highness the President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan greeted people celebrating the occasion both domestically and overseas. His Highness said, “I extend my warmest regards to all those celebrating Christmas in the UAE and around the world,” wishing families and communities “peace, joy, and harmony.”
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s vice president and prime minister as well as the ruler of Dubai, congratulated Christian communities in a similar letter. “Warmest congratulations to our Christian brothers and sisters in the UAE and across the world on the occasion of Christmas,” Sheikh Mohammed said on his official X account. Sheikh Mohammed wrote, “On this auspicious occasion, we hope that the values of peace, fraternity, and human coexistence will prevail, and that compassion and love will continue to grow among all peoples.”
