Halsey Begins ‘Back to Badlands’ Tour Amid Record Label Dispute

Halsey Reflects on Creativity and Success During ‘Back to Badlands’ Tour

Halsey has officially launched their Back to Badlands Tour, marking the 10th anniversary of their debut album Badlands.

The 31-year-old singer performed the first of three sold-out shows at the historic Hollywood Forever Cemetery on October 14, delighting fans with a nostalgic mix of early hits alongside selections from their wider discography.

The tour, which will visit major cities including New York, Toronto, London, Paris, and Sydney, comes as Halsey faces ongoing disputes with their record label over new music releases.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, Halsey revealed they are currently barred from releasing a new album.

“I can’t make an album right now. I’m not allowed to,” Halsey said, referring to the label’s reaction to their 2024 project The Great Impersonator.

“Because The Great Impersonator didn’t perform the way they expected. Honestly, the album sold 100,000 copies in the first week. That’s a strong start… but they want Manic numbers from me.”

Halsey criticised the unrealistic comparisons. “If my record sells 100,000 copies first week with no radio play and no real support, and people ask why I’m not doing Taylor Swift numbers, are you kidding me?”

They added, “I made an experimental concept album about almost dying… Compared to other artists doing similar music, I’m killing it.”

Despite these challenges, Halsey continues to captivate audiences with powerful performances and strong fan support on the Back to Badlands Tour.

Dylan Efron Touches Hearts with Emotional Tribute to Siblings on ‘DWTS’

Dylan Efron delivered a touching tribute to his brother Zac Efron and their baby sister Olivia during Dancing With the Stars’ “Dedication Night.”

The reality star lit up the stage alongside his five-year-old half-sister, performing a contemporary routine to Rewrite the Stars, the song originally sung by Zac and Zendaya in The Greatest Showman.

The siblings began the performance gracefully, twirling together before Dylan lifted Olivia in a smooth and impressive move.

The energy ramped up as Dylan’s professional partner, Daniella Karagach, took over with a high-energy, athletic routine, while little Olivia safely moved to the side of the stage.

Towards the end, Olivia returned to hug her older brother, earning loud applause from the live audience and online fans.

Fans quickly shared their admiration on social media. One wrote, “Oh my goodness! I know he is dedicating this dance to his little sister, but low-key he’s doing it for both siblings. We got ‘Rewrite the Stars’ from his older brother Zac, and now he’s dancing with his little sister. So precious!”

Another fan commented, “You just know she’ll remember it forever!! I bet they’ll recreate it as she grows.”

A third added, “Oh my gosh, I’m literally crying again. Dylan and his beautiful sister dancing together was absolutely everything. Dylan did a good job tonight!”

In a pre-dance rehearsal video, Dylan spoke about his bond with Olivia, saying, “I wasn’t expecting to be a big brother. She’s 5, and I’m 33. But immediately I was inseparable from her. She’s everything to me. I want to show her to live her life with confidence.”

He also shared that he included a tribute to Zac, 37, explaining, “He’s always taken care of me and done things that were so selfless. I want to be that for Olivia.”

Dylan first revealed Olivia’s role in his “Dedication Night” routine on Instagram on Sunday.
