Robert Irwin discusses his ongoing attempts at thievery. In a dramatic moment, Robert Irwin stopped a burglar from stealing his photography equipment. When he nearly misplaced his camera equipment, the Dancing with the Stars star talked about it with People Magazine. “I had my hard case packed of camera equipment when we landed after flying through Nairobi. It didn’t fit as carry-on, so I had to check it,” he stated.
“I went, ‘That’s strange,'” he continued. I’m not sure what it was, but then I thought, ‘I’m just going to check the conveyor belt one more time,’ and as I walked back, I caught a glimpse of the Pelican case.” “Someone is stealing it by walking out the front door with it on a trolley. It has a really distinct appearance, and since all the stickers are on it, you can’t confuse it for someone else’s,” Irwin continued. He stated, “And he looks at me and he looks around at everyone and gives it to me and then just takes off running,” as Irwin came up to him and questioned the man. However, this occurs frequently. It occurs all over the world and everywhere.
“Photography is a real passion, because I get to take what I get to experience and then amplify that for the world, to show them, ‘This is the beauty of the natural world, this is what we need to protect,'” Irwin, Robert, added.
