Careem has partnered with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to provide free Careem Bike rentals for all participants of the Dubai Ride event, supporting efforts to make the city’s biggest cycling event more accessible and sustainable.
Participants can unlock a free single-trip pass through the Careem app by entering the promo code DR25. Bikes can be collected from Careem Bike’s two pop-up stations at Entrance A (Museum of the Future, Trade Centre Street) and Entrance E (Lower FCS, Financial Centre Street), or from any of the 200-plus Careem Bike stations across Dubai.
Free bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis between 3:00 AM and 8:00 AM. During this time, extra charges will not apply for rides lasting longer than 45 minutes.
Hussain Al Banna, CEO of the Traffic and Roads Agency at RTA, said: “Dubai Ride is a key part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and supports RTA’s mission to make Dubai a bicycle-friendly city. Our partnership with Careem Bike helps more residents embrace active and sustainable mobility, reflecting RTA’s focus on safety, sustainability, and community happiness.”
Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Chief Business Officer at Careem, added: “We’re proud to work with the RTA for the fourth consecutive year to make Dubai Ride open to everyone. Offering free Careem Bikes encourages more people to join this citywide event and promotes cycling as a healthy and eco-friendly way to travel around Dubai.”

Launched in 2020 in collaboration with the RTA, Careem Bike has become one of the region’s largest electric bike-sharing networks.
