Discounts won’t be accessible through other channels; they will only be seen on the TAMM app. Abu Dhabi: When paying through TAMM, the official government services platform of the emirate, drivers in Abu Dhabi can now take advantage of special discounts on traffic penalties. Residents who pay fines through the TAMM mobile app can earn discounts of up to 35 percent, according to a statement released by the Abu Dhabi Government Services platform in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police. The scheme offers a 35 percent reduction to drivers who pay within 60 days of a violation, with the exception of significant infractions. Payments paid within 60 days and up to a year after the date of issuance will be discounted by 25%.
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed in a statement that the discounts will only be accessible via the TAMM app and not via the Ministry of Interior’s app, Al Ansari Exchange, or banking apps.
