At the MLS Forum 2025, Abu Dhabi enhances its global prominence in PropTech and real estate transparency

New international data exchange agreements are signed in Toronto by ADREC and ADRES. After attending the International MLS Forum 2025 this week in Toronto, Canada, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) and Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES) have emphasized the UAE’s expanding leadership in PropTech and real estate data governance. Among more than 130 organizations from 20 countries, ADRES represented the United Arab Emirates as a Diamond Sponsor of the event. The forum’s main goals were to promote international collaboration in technology, ethics, and real estate data standards.

The Fourth International MLS Forum will be held in Abu Dhabi in November 2026, marking the first time the international conference will be held in the Middle East, according to a significant statement made during the event. In collaboration with ADRES, ADREC will host the forum, which will be organized by the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO). Several top international Multiple Listing Services (MLSs), such as Stellar MLS, TRREB, SNPI, and San Diego MLS, signed Global Data Exchange (GDX) Agreements with ADRES during the Toronto event. The agreement establishes the foundation for a pilot project that uses RESO standards to securely transfer verified property data across international borders.

The program seeks to advance international investment opportunities, improve data compatibility, and facilitate market transparency. According to Sultan Al Memari, Acting Executive Director of ADREC’s Real Estate Regulation Sector, Abu Dhabi is still establishing itself as a global leader in digital innovation and real estate transparency. “We are reflecting the UAE’s leadership in digital transformation while aligning with international standards through Madhmoun,” he stated. “Our collaboration with international MLS partners and ADRES strengthens investor confidence and promotes a reliable real estate environment based on transparent governance and data integrity.”

The recognition of Madhmoun MLS, the first RESO-certified Multiple Listing Service in the MENA, Asia, and Arab areas, was a major highlight of the UAE’s involvement. Madhmoun, which was created by ADREC and sponsored by ADRES, has obtained certifications for Web API 2.0.0 and RESO Data Dictionary 2.0, bringing the UAE’s property data ecosystem up to par with international standards. The accomplishment, according to ADRES General Manager Moath Maqbol, represents a long-term goal for a more open and integrated real estate industry. He stated, “Our involvement at the MLS Forum is a significant step in creating a unified, technology-driven real estate marketplace.” “The Global Data Exchange pilot will position Abu Dhabi as a leading regional hub for PropTech and open the door to smarter collaboration between real estate markets worldwide.”

At the Forum’s Gala Dinner, ThinkProp ADRES’s accredited real estate training center received the Excellence in Mentorship Award. The award acknowledges its contribution to advancing professional growth and fostering a trained workforce prepared for the real estate industry’s future. According to ThinkProp CEO Jasem Al Hosani, the honor demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to developing great domestic talent. “We think education is the cornerstone of innovation and trust in the real estate industry,” he stated. “This award highlights the effort put forth to prepare qualified professionals for a rapidly evolving digital landscape.”

Policymakers, regulators, PropTech innovators, and international real estate professionals are anticipated to attend the Abu Dhabi MLS Forum 2026, which is set for November 23–24 of next year. Data ethics, artificial intelligence, transparency, and the future of digital property governance will be the main topics of discussion. “Hosting the forum in Abu Dhabi is both an honor and a responsibility,” Maqbol continued. We want to establish new international standards for reliable and transparent real estate systems in collaboration with ADREC. The results of the 2025 International MLS Forum represent a major advancement for the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi is contributing to the development of a more integrated, transparent, and investor-friendly real estate future on a regional and international scale through ADREC’s regulatory mission and ADRES’s technical leadership.
