Dubai Police have issued a warning about the serious risks of using public Wi-Fi networks for online banking or financial transactions.
Authorities explained that connecting to open or unsecured networks can expose users to cyber threats such as data theft, malware attacks, and unauthorized access to personal devices.
They advised residents and visitors to use only trusted and secure internet connections when performing online banking or entering sensitive information to protect their personal and financial data.
