Karachi: Horrific scenes emerged during the ongoing rescue operation in Gul Plaza, in which 30 bodies were found from a shop on the ninth floor, after which the number of people killed in the tragedy has reached 63. According to details, the search for missing people is underway in the fire-ravaged Gul Plaza. Meanwhile, information has been received that 25 to 30 bodies have been found from a shop in the plaza, which has been confirmed by the Additional IG Karachi. SSP City Police Arif Aziz also said that the bodies have been found from a shop called Dubai Crockery on the mezzanine floor, the bodies are in a burnt condition. Rescue workers are checking in different parts of the building, but they are not allowed to take mobile phones so that no videos or pictures are leaked. The recovery operation is still ongoing and all teams are active. Human organs are also being recovered from the rubble of the plaza. Rescue officials said that it is not possible to say how many people the organs found belong to at present. The human organs are being sent to the Civil Hospital. The police surgeon had said that the human remains in the Gul Plaza tragedy are being examined carefully. It is premature to say whether the remains found today are new or are of previously found bodies. However, a panel of doctors is conducting a detailed examination. The situation will become clear soon.
