Every year, runners gather for the fitness competition. It’s time to go. The annual Dubai Run got underway on Sheikh Zayed Road this morning at 6.30am, drawing runners from all around the Emirates. Sheikh Zayed Road becomes the largest running track in the world during the yearly run, which is the main event of Dubai Fitness Challenge. The event started with a pyrotechnics show before the run.
Meanwhile, Dubai Police reaffirmed that Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed for the duration of the race and advised anyone who must travel during this time to find alternate routes.
