India and Saudi Arabia Finalise Hajj 2026 Agreement with Quota Set at 1.75 Lakh Pilgrims

New Delhi, November 10, 2025: India and Saudi Arabia have formalised the Hajj 2026 agreement, confirming a quota of 175,025 Indian pilgrims for the upcoming pilgrimage season.

The agreement was signed in Jeddah by India’s Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Saudi Minister of Hajj & Umrah Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, following discussions on logistics, accommodation, and healthcare arrangements to ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience for Indian participants.

Both governments pledged enhanced coordination in transport management, facility oversight, and medical services for pilgrims, aiming to elevate the overall standard of the Hajj journey. With extensive preparations underway, the agreement reflects the deepening bilateral ties between India and Saudi Arabia.
