Turin: In the Italian city of Turin, there were violent clashes between protesters and police, in which more than 100 police officers were injured. According to police officials, protesters pelted stones at police officers during the protest, after which the situation became tense. The police used water cannons to control the situation and disperse the protesters. Security was tightened in different areas of the city due to the clashes, while several roads were temporarily closed. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, reacting to the incident, strongly condemned the violence and said that attacks on public property and law enforcement agencies are unacceptable. He stressed the need to maintain peace and order and ensure the rule of law.
