Jenna Bush Hager has acknowledged that she colored her hair to resemble the character from Claire Danes’ My So-Called Life. Jenna Bush Hager told Claire Danes in a recent interview with Magazine that she had colored her hair in middle school to resemble Danes’ well-known character from television. The 43-year-old host revealed that one of Danes’ characters served as the inspiration for her initial hair change during her appearance on the most recent episode of Jenna & Friends.
In reference to her portrayal of Angela Chase in the popular adolescent drama, Bush Hager told Danes, “I have kind of a girl crush on you for a long time, including in the sixth grade when I got food coloring and I dyed my hair to look [like you].” The TV personality even posted a picture of herself as a child and Danes’ character side by side, both of them sporting the same hue of reddish-brown. “I mean, please look, doesn’t that little person want to be the other little person?” She made a joke. Danes, 46, said, “That is very sweet,” before changing the subject.
