Justin Bieber has opened up about how negative comments online can hurt his confidence.
The 31-year-old pop star, known for sharing his emotions with fans, said that reading hateful messages can still affect him deeply.
During a recent Twitch session, Justin admitted that dealing with online criticism is challenging.
“Going on Twitch is vulnerable because people who feel bad about themselves project that and write mean things. It’s already hard to put yourself out there, and then you have to read all this,” the singer said.
The Sorry hitmaker explained that such comments often make him doubt himself.
“People were saying, ‘Justin is not as exuberant. He will never be his exuberant self again. He’s lost his charisma.’ I was like, ‘What? I just played basketball last night, I’m just tired.’”
He added, “I start overthinking, like, ‘Did I lose my charisma? My exuberance?’ It’s frustrating because even if a million people say nice things, one comment can stick.”
Last month, Justin made headlines after responding to his mother Pattie Mallette’s heartfelt post praying for his “healing.” He replied jokingly, “The only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong.”
Despite the constant media attention, Justin continues to find strength in his faith, sharing that God’s love helps him get through each day.
Jessica Simpson Marks 8 Years of Sobriety: ‘Found Purpose in My Life’
Jessica Simpson celebrates 8th anniversary of sobriety on social media Jessica Simpson is celebrating a significant milestone, reflecting on how sobriety has changed her life.
The singer marked eight years of being sober on November 2, sharing a heartfelt post about how giving up alcohol reshaped her journey.
“Eight years ago today I made the choice to confront, to confess, and to let go of the self-sabotaging parts of my life that I was choosing,” Simpson wrote on Instagram. “Making that decision allowed me to fully live in the pursuit of God’s purpose for my life.”
Simpson, 45, who shares Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6, with estranged husband Eric Johnson, reflected on the positive impact sobriety has had on her mindset.
She revealed that alcohol once “silenced my intuition, blocked my dreams, and fueled my fears of complacency.”
Now, she said, “Today I am clear. Today I am driven by faith. Both fear and faith are feelings we may not see. I’m so happy I chose faith over fear.” She added, “It was not in the fight that I found my strength, it was in the surrender.”
This new chapter comes amid personal changes. Simpson confirmed her split from Johnson earlier this year and is preparing for her acting comeback. She stars in the upcoming legal drama All’s Fair alongside Kim Kardashian, Niecy Nash, and Sarah Paulson.
At the Los Angeles premiere in October, she told E! News, “I feel like at 45, I’m born again. It’s like a resurrection of everything entertainment for me and it’s so nice.”
Simpson is also returning to music. After stepping back to focus on her children and fashion brand, she released her EP Nashville Canyon: Part 1 this year and has concerts planned throughout 2025.
“There was a 15-year break, and it felt very long,” she explained, noting that raising her children came first during that time.
With new projects in motion, Simpson is eager to continue creating. Speaking about All’s Fair, she said, “It was an amazing experience. I’m craving doing it again.”
