PAM Kuwait emphasized in a formal statement that companies are required to submit this data and update it immediately upon any changes. PAM inspectors will use the submitted data as their official guide for conducting compliance inspections and workplace visits. The authority explained that a work schedule will be deemed formally permitted after it has been approved by Ashal. The authorized schedule must be printed by the employer and put in a visible location for workers to see. PAM further cautioned that, in accordance with Article Four of the new ruling, noncompliance with these standards may lead to legal action, which may include the partial or total suspension of an employer’s file, beginning on November 1, 2025.
PAM has added a specific form to its Easy e-services platform that enables private sector organizations to request clearance for their work plans in order to guarantee a seamless deployment. For official approval in Kuwait, all businesses, organizations, and establishments must fill out and submit this form, which includes information on their operating hours. Following approval, the work schedule needs to be posted in a prominent area of the office. PAM reaffirmed that the goals of these actions are to guarantee complete adherence to Kuwait’s labor laws, safeguard workers’ rights, and improve transparency.
