It has been revealed that English captain Harry Brook lied to save teammates in a nightclub brawl. During the tour of New Zealand before the Ashes, he drank alcohol after dinner the night before the scheduled ODI match in Wellington. Later, he tried to force his way into the nightclub, for which he was punched by a bouncer. Later, the English board not only issued a strict warning to Brooke over this incident, but also fined him 30,000 pounds. Brook said that when this incident happened, I was not alone, but there were some other colleagues. I accept full responsibility for what happened in Wellington. I admit that there were some other players with me that evening, I did not name them earlier to protect them. I apologize once again for this incident and admit that I have to learn more to understand my off-field responsibility as a white-ball captain.
