RAHIM YAR KHAN: During a private visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan had a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Before the New Year, Sheikh Mohamed and the prime minister of Pakistan exchanged pleasantries, wishing each other ongoing success and wealth as well as hope for world peace and stability.
Strong links between the UAE and Pakistan were discussed during the meeting, with an emphasis on enhancing cooperation in the areas of commerce, development, and the economy as well as other sectors that support both nations’ development priorities and shared interests. Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his gratitude for the UAE President’s dedication to enhancing relations between the two nations in a number of areas.
