Pakistan’s famous host Tabish Hashmi has expressed deep sorrow over the Gul Plaza tragedy in Karachi. Tabish Hashmi said that there is hardly a house in Karachi where there is no thing brought from Gul Plaza. From childhood to youth and now when we are in old age, the associations that were in Karachi are disappearing one by one. I listened to the press conference of the Sindh Chief Minister in which he said that I am responsible, but all this does not happen just through words, it has to be done. This is not the first incident in Karachi. Many fires have broken out and many children have died under dumpers. If the CM is responsible, then tell me, has he lost his post? Has their salary been cut? The compensation given to the affected people is also not paid from their own pockets. If you ask me, I will say that when the government realized that they could not run PIA, they privatized it. Similarly, you should privatize Karachi. All the people of Karachi, Pathans, Baloch, Sindhi, Mohajir, Punjabi, we will all buy the city together. I am sure that we will run a very good city. If we have to run it like this, because we will not be able to run the city worse than them, despite our efforts.
