Sannia Ashfaq, the ex-wife of all-rounder Imad Wasim, claims that their marriage was finally dissolved due to the participation of a third party. In response to a recent comment made by Imad Wasim, Sania wrote on Instagram that the interference of someone who wanted to marry her husband was the last straw in an already troubled marriage. “I am writing this from a place of deep pain,” Sannia stated. My children are now fatherless and my house has been destroyed. I have three children, one of whom is five months old and has not yet been held by his father.
“I didn’t want to tell this story, but it’s important to remember that silence doesn’t equate to weakness.” She continued. “Like many marriages, ours faced difficulties, but it continued to exist,” she clarified. As a wife and mother, I stayed dedicated and worked hard to keep our family intact. The involvement of a third party, whose goal was to wed my husband, was what ultimately brought this marriage to an end and dealt the ultimate blow to an already troubled partnership. “After this, I endured emotional torment, mistreatment, abortion, and abandonment while pregnant and vulnerable, choosing patience for the sake of my children and the dignity of my home,” she continued.
Legal disputes and ongoing scrutiny surround the divorce process itself. Through the right channels, the truth will come to light. “Know that injustice does not go unanswered to those who try to intimidate or silence me,” Sania stated. She also cited passages from the Quran, saying, “Allah says: ‘Do not think Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do.” (Surah Ibrahim 14:42) Additionally, he states that “good men are for good women, and good women are for good men.” (Surah An-Nur 24:26). “It is important to mention that documented evidence exists for every person involved in this matter, but I am being threatened not to make it public,” Sannia Ashfaq emphasized. I will take legal action against anyone who tries to intimidate me.
“I speak today for myself, my children, and every woman who was told to endure in silence, not out of retaliation, but out of truth,” she continued.
