Alex Cooper was open about how much she loves Taylor Swift. When it comes to her adoration for Taylor Swift, Alex Cooper isn’t holding back. During the 7th November episode of Owen Thiele’s podcast In Your Dreams, the Call Her Daddy presenter revealed her intense Swiftie devotion, even joking that Taylor Swift was her “s**** awakening for women,” according to a recent story from PEOPLE Magazine.
Cooper, 31, couldn’t resist pointing out a poster of Swift’s Fearless album that was displayed behind Thiele in the studio during their conversation. She exclaimed, “I can’t stop staring and looking at the Fearless album behind your head,” as soon as she saw it. “Those songs changed my life,” she went on. I was really beginning to like boys throughout the Fearless period of my childhood. “You liked girls before?” Thiele made fun of it. Cooper joked, “We’re getting there,” before disclosing how devoted she was to Swift’s music as a teenager.
“I simply discovered that I was such a loser, and [Swift] was my link to the idea that he doesn’t love me.” At one point, though, I almost romanticized men’ hatred of me because I felt it was awesome that they were rejecting me because I could listen to Taylor. Thiele chuckled, “You were in love with Taylor.” Cooper remarked, “Yeah, she was my s***** awakening for women.” “I apologize; that’s strange, Taylor.” Cooper’s love for Swift is nothing new; she recently mentioned Swift as one of her ideal podcast guests in an interview with PEOPLE.
“Oh my god, I would say two people: Rihanna or Taylor Swift. “Period,” she said at the time. “I think those two women have created such amazing empires, and I would be honored to have a conversation with either of them.”
