In July 2025, a picture purporting to be Dua Lipa’s passport photo was viewed by almost nine million times on a single X post. The majority of social media users questioned, “Why don’t other people look their best in photos taken for official documents?” which is why the picture went viral. However, most people are unaware that the widely used photograph is not Dua Lipa’s passport photo. Nevertheless, it appears that the photo was taken for a fashion show and shared on social media alongside a number of other models. Additionally, the music artist received Kosovo citizenship in August 2025. After obtaining citizenship, she said it “feels like my two sides are now one.”
For those who don’t know, Dua Lipa was reared in London by her parents, who are Kosovan-Albanian. When she was eleven years old, her parents moved back to Pristina following Kosovo’s independence. Earlier on Sunday, Rosalía’s listening party for her new album “LUX” in New York City was attended by Dua Lipa and her fiancé Callum Turner, who radiated charm and affection throughout the weekend. After enjoying their evening together, the couple was subsequently seen going arm in arm out of Brooklyn’s The Weyline. The 30-year-old pop icon turned heads while sporting a chic long jacket with a snake print. Dua Lipa chose loose curls for her dark hair and paired her gorgeous jacket with a black ensemble and matching boots.
The One Kiss singer completed her ensemble of the day with a matching black purse and large gold drop earrings. Callum Turner, on the other hand, chose a more laid-back style by donning a black leather jacket over matching pants and cardigan. As he left the venue holding hands with Dua, the 35-year-old actor finished off his ensemble with a pair of tie-dye sneakers.
