MoFA reiterates the UAE’s dedication to resolving the conflict in Ukraine peacefully.
Abu Dhabi: Following damage to the State of Qatar’s Embassy in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, as a result of shelling that targeted the city, the UAE emphasized the significance of safeguarding civilian and diplomatic buildings as well as the homes of embassy staff in accordance with the norms and conventions governing diplomatic relations. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) emphasized its call for diplomacy, communication, and de-escalation in the face of worsening humanitarian conditions and the ongoing suffering of civilians, reiterating the UAE’s commitment to continuing efforts aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
