Americans will soon be able to travel to Venezuela: Trump Washington: The United States will reopen commercial airspace over Venezuela, according to President Donald Trump, who also outlined a new phase of cooperation that involves US energy corporations looking for opportunities in the nation. At a Cabinet meeting, Trump reported that he had spoken with the temporary president of Venezuela and given the order to resume travel right now. “I just told the Venezuelan president that we will be opening up all commercial airspace over Venezuela,” he stated. “Venezuela will soon be accessible to U.S. citizens.”

Under extremely strict control

Travelers would be safe, he said. Trump declared, “They’ll be safe there.” “Very strong control is in place.” Venezuelans in the US, according to Trump, were keeping a careful eye on the action. “People in our country, like in Miami’s Doral neighborhood, which is known as Little Venezuela, are ecstatic,” he remarked. He attributed the change to strengthening relationships and what he called a successful security operation.

“We’ve had a situation with respect to Venezuela, as you know,” Trump stated. “I would like to express my gratitude to General Caine and his team for their hard work.”

“Getting along really well with them”

“We’re getting along really well with them,” Trump continued. The connections have been excellent and powerful. Trump claimed that US businesses were already taking action in the energy sector. “The major oil companies are currently visiting Venezuela, scouting it out and choosing their locations,” he stated. He believed the endeavor will benefit both parties.

“They’ll be bringing back tremendous wealth for Venezuela and for the United States,” Trump stated.

Oil firms will prosper.

“And the oil companies will also prosper.” In the wake of the events, Trump detailed scenes inside Venezuela. He remarked, “The Venezuelan people were literally in the streets waving American flags, they were so happy.”

He ordered agencies, including Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, to move swiftly. “I’ve told Sean Duffy and everyone else involved, including the military, that I’d like to have the airspace over Venezuela opened up so that planes can travel there by the end of today,” Trump stated. “Yes,” Duffy replied. According to Trump, the action would permit two-way travel.

He stated, “The people of—formerly of Venezuela, some want to go back, and some want to go back to visit, and they’re going to be able to do that.” Before sanctions and regulatory obstacles drastically curtailed operations, US corporations were historically involved in Venezuela’s energy sector, which has some of the world’s greatest proven oil reserves.
