The world isn’t made for parents, according to Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence talks candidly about working while pregnant and going back to work after having children. Jennifer Lawrence is talking candidly about juggling a tough film career with motherhood. In a recent cover article for W Magazine, the actress discussed her experiences as a mother of two, recalling the time she spent filming her upcoming movie Die My Love while still carrying her second child.

She stated, “I knew I needed a second child before my other son got too old, and I also knew I was going to be doing the movie.” “That timing worked out because you’re really sick in the first trimester and start to feel better in the second.” She claimed that filming during her pregnancy also enabled her to develop a stronger bond with her role. “Any kind of veneer is taken off by motherhood,” Lawrence said. “You begin to see the world from the perspective of someone who is far more significant than you.”

The Hunger Games actress continued by explaining how having a child completely altered her perspective on work. “I felt totally connected to my baby when I had my first child,” she remarked. “But I also realized that relationship wasn’t the center of the world.” Lawrence described the experience of going back to work after delivering birth as startling. You’re like, ‘Wait, how am I expected to return to work?’ all of a sudden. Get into a car and head out? “Get on an airplane and take off from my baby?” she exclaimed. “After that, everything looks different.” Lawrence and his 41-year-old husband, Cooke Maroney, have two sons.
