It is an honor to present Prime Minister @narendramodi with the invitation from @POTUS to join the Board of Peace, which will bring long-lasting peace to Gaza. In order to attain stability and prosperity, the Board will support efficient governance. In the letter, he wrote: “It is my Great Honor to invite you, as Prime Minister of the Republic of India, to join me in a critically historic and Magnificent effort to solidify Peace in the Middle East and, at the same time, to embark on a bold new approach to resolving Global Conflict!” Trump mentioned his September 29 release of a Comprehensive Plan to resolve the Gaza conflict in his letter.

The Board of Peace, the most remarkable and significant Board ever created, would be established as a new international organization and Transitional Governing Administration at the center of the Plan, Trump said. The invitation coincides with the US administration’s formalization of the “Board of Peace” mechanism associated with Trump’s more comprehensive Gaza strategy. The list of those nominated to the “Board of Peace” to supervise phase two of his 20-Point Peace Plan to end the Gaza war was released by the White House on Friday. According to a statement from the White House, the names include US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Trump special envoy Steve Witkoff, World Bank President Ajay Banga, and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Members of the Gaza Executive Board, including Blair, Kushner, and Witkoff, as well as Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Qatari ambassador Ali Al Thawadi, were also identified in the statement.
