The UAE has dispatched a delegation of 50 Chief AI Officers (CAIOs) to the United States as part of a strategic mission to strengthen global technology partnerships. Over a 10-day visit, the group will meet with leading American tech companies—including Google, Meta, OpenAI, Palantir, Nvidia, IBM, Amazon, and Microsoft—to explore cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. This high-level engagement underscores the UAE’s commitment to driving AI-powered transformation across government and key industries.
The visit is designed to give UAE AI leaders first-hand exposure to the latest trends, best practices, and breakthrough technologies shaping the future of digital governance. By fostering collaboration with Silicon Valley’s top innovators, the initiative aims to accelerate the UAE’s National AI Strategy and strengthen its position as a global hub for advanced technology and smart government services. Discussions will focus on leveraging AI to enhance public sector performance, improve citizen services, and create sustainable economic growth.
This mission builds on the UAE’s recent government reforms, which established the role of Chief AI Officer across federal entities and introduced specialized training programs to develop AI leadership and ethical governance. Through knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships, the UAE seeks to empower its AI leaders to deploy future-ready solutions that support the country’s long-term vision for digital transformation and innovation leadership on the world stage.
