Temperatures are expected to drop on Thursday, February 5, while fog was present in many areas in the morning. According to the National Center of Meteorology, red and yellow weather warnings have been issued in view of the weather conditions. The Meteorological Department has instructed citizens to exercise caution when driving and going out unnecessarily due to low visibility. The fog alert will remain in effect until 9:30 am on Thursday. Overall temperatures are expected to range between 15 and 29 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Abu Dhabi and Dubai is forecast to be 16 degrees. The lowest temperature recorded on Wednesday morning was 6.4 degrees Celsius in Rukna area of Al Ain. On Thursday, the sky will be partly cloudy in some northern and eastern areas with the possibility of rain in some places. Humidity is expected to increase and light fog will form in coastal and inland areas during the night and Friday morning. Winds will blow from northwest to northeast at light to moderate speeds, with speeds of 10 to 25 kilometers per hour, sometimes reaching 40 kilometers per hour. The sea in the Arabian Gulf will initially be stormy, which will later become moderate to calm, while the sea in the Gulf of Oman will remain rather calm.
